- And then we finally are in 2010.
- I'm at home.
- I hate New Year's parties.
- It's cold.
- It's 00:17am right now. 1st of January of 2010.
- Bye.
Storm

It's storming. It's agressive and the wind is the strongest I've ever seen. Anyway... I'm so bored I just want to yell at everything! Got my camera, took some pictures. Nothing great, it's just to pass time.
What do you do when you're bored? Any ideas? Anything you can teach me about photography that makes time fly? HELP!
Christmas II
Christmas

Awww... how nice is it to start a new post with a pretty image of a nice sunrise. It was taken last 15th, whille I was getting ready to go to class. Lisbon.
Anyway, let's get started!
Yesterday I arrived my hometown (Praia da Vitória, Azores) for Christmas, and I can't feel happier! (Obviously) It's so so sooo nice to be around the family and to smell that characteristic "family home" smell, always so good.
My Christmas tree is smaller than last year, but it still looks nice and fresh and cute! Take a look.

That's it for now. Sorry for the boring random stuff... I just felt like posting something nice. I'm still hoping for new photos.
Picture taken this afternoon. Me, my godson and cousin Rodrigo, and my uncle Vitor, trying to figure out how to work with my cellphone xD
70-300mm
Presentiiiiiiiiing my new object from my wishlist! (how I love wishlists...)
I finally got my new lens! Sigma FTW!
So... it's a Sigma 70-30mm f4-5.6 Macro, I bought it yesterday, and it's only been one day but I'm loving it! I actually watched some reviews about this one on YouTube, and got impressed. The macro option = LOVE. It's amazing... I can shoot closer with a few feet away from it. The zoom is pretty satisfying, good enough to shoot the moon with a lot of new details. I can't wait! =D
Got myself a new self-portrait with the new lens, for celebration. I shot it against the mirror, with the remote control, and then I inverted it, to look like as if someone was taking my picture. It's taken with the new lens ^^
Oh and I curled my hair a little bit in the front, with my new hair straightener and also curler. It's pretty good.

Here are some pictures from the lens itself, taken by me, in my homemade little photo studio. I made it to have some fun with macro. I'll post more pictures later.

And here's the Nikon D80 equiped with the 70-300mm.
