Pula Arena is the amphitheatre located in Pula. The Arena was built between 27 BC - 68 AD, as the city of Pula became a regional centre of Roman rule, called Pietas Julia. We didn't get it because it was a little too expensive just to go to the inside, while we could still look at the inside through the outside, so there was no point. It wasn't as big as I expected but it's always like that... The places and monuments are always smaler than what I originaly thought I would be.
But it's beautiful, and I've never been this close to something that old.
